Lassen County Historical Society

Home to many historic items from previous centuries, including authentic arrowhead collections, Native American Art, last pieces of historic uptown business, old weapons, bottles, photographs, and more from the 1850’s to present day. Roop’s Fort is the oldest building in the County. Built in 1854, it originally served as a trading post for early emigrants.
